In-depth knowledge of FW debug tools such as
emulators and scopes. Familiar with high speed serial
interface electrical characterizations. Sound SW
Engineering concept/methodology (process). Additional
Requirements. Open to domestic and/or international
travel for technical consultation/ presentation. Good
oral and written skills for communication and
documentation. Strong team player. BSEE or BSCS
required, MS in EE or CS preferred.

Job Description

Senior Firmware Engineer SAS/SSD job for California. Design and develop code for the firmware of high performance desktop and enterprise class Solid State disk drive products. Implement code for the storage device interface such as Serial SCSI, Fibre Channel and Serial ATA. Generate SAS, FC and SATA Serial transport, Link and PHY layer interface control function. Work with major OEM customers to implement functions for customer requirements and debug customer issues. Skills Required: Minimum 3-12 years experience in real-time embedded systems firmware development with preferred experience in disk drive firmware development.
